Pink-plosion!

Sometimes you just gotta roll with your hood up; your friend Arnold, the pig in one hand; and a bell from Santa Claus himself in the other hand.

Sometimes you go with the hood down. Not everyone can pull off a pink puffy dotted outfit with a hood and a bunny on it, but when you got it, you got it.

Sapphire, the cat, likes to join the party. Mostly when you're trying to take pictures and she can get between the camera and Maryn.

What do you mean spoiled?! I just want a few more toys for Christmas.
She'll probably have more fun playing with the boxes and paper, but oh well.

Santa and Friends...

Maryn likes to mix it up with her cousins. So long as they're cool playing on a pink quilt.

Maryn exudes her style in her 'skinny jeans.' Daddy doesn't know why they're called that, but if the Mom's Group says it, it sticks.

All she wanted to do was take the sleigh for a spin around the block! Is that too much to ask?!

Maryn did find Santa very interesting.

Maryn is showing Trystan and Colin how to crawl. She's quite mobile now, which means everything is changing for her parents!

Behind the scenes look...

This is Maryn at the game, but what does it take to get ready for an outing like this...

Mom puts Maryn in her tights by pulling them on all the way, thanks to a little help from gravity.

It's an early start to the day, but worth it to tailgate with friends and family. Plus, all the bottles you want to drink! Maryn learned how to clap by attending Beaver games all fall.

Fashion show!

Please, people, just let me into the fashion show without being bothered!

That's it, darling! Never look at the camera!

If you can't tell what's going on in this picture, Maryn is actually tackling our cat, Sapphire. Being the maternal cat that she is, she pretty much lets Maryn do whatever she wants to her.

The latest trend from New York. You can roll around on the floor, go out on the town and take a nap in it, it's so versatile.

Halloween Night!

Maryn with Papa Lauran - aka - the guy with the big Beaver head.

Notice the incredible pumpkin that Daddy carved!

Mommy made the pumpkin costume! Maryn is also proud to show off her stylish leggings.

It was a successful night of trick or treating...mostly because Daddy ate all the candy!

Happy Halloween!

Maryn and Toulouse are talking about the pumpkins Dad carved.

Not a lot of camera shyness around these parts.

Nothing like sitting on a pumpkin.

Trick...

...or treat!

Picking Pumpkins!

Mom and Maryn are picking out pumpkins!

This one weighs more than Maryn. And it requires less diaper changing.

Another beautiful, sunny October day in the Willamette Valley.

Pumpkin Patch!

Off we went to the pumpkin patch. Those are apples, not pumpkins!

Uh, no pumpkins in there. Marisa felt compelled to photo the outhouse.

Slightly better picture, but it's always important to know where the outhouse is.

Maryn was between naps on our adventure to the pumpkin patch, wondering what we were doing.

But, she did help us find our way out of the cornmaze!

New toy!

Pretty much the cutest picture, ever. Not that we're biased.

Dad got a mini-pink volleyball at work, and knew just who to give it too!

Maryn sits up all by herself, playing with her volleyball. Or, she rolls around the house chasing after it. And, she has a cat on her shirt, so life is good!

Maryn even invites her friends to play with her new toy! She's good about sharing.

If you look closely at the volleyball, you'll see that Maryn is promoting breast cancer awareness. She's a young athlete, advocate - a good role model. We're very proud of her!

On the home front!

Dad and Maryn are wrestling. Maryn is winning.

Maryn is having rice cereal and learning to eat. Mom and Dad are learning to feed Maryn. Maryn is winning.

We're all about class at the Paine household. Dad is trying to show Maryn how to eat. Classy, huh?

Maryn is winning, again.

Aren't you jealous of Maryn's mermaid bath robe? I know! Me too!

Life on the road!

Maryn made the trip to Colorado Springs, CO. Her Great-Grandmother passed away. Maryn's middle name, Hope, comes from Ruth Hope - her Great-Grandmother. Needless to say, she proved to be quite entertaining and special to the family, showing off her party talents!

This is Dad's favorite time, sleeping time! Actually, she's pretty fun to play with too, but sometimes it's nice to have quiet time.

Uh, can I help you?

This is Auntie Tricia's house in Colorado. Maryn was very entertained on her visit. And, she loves her aunties, uncles, cousins and more. But, mostly the aunties because they provided her with a whole new wardrobe! Thank you aunties!

Ah, to be fed, have your chin wiped, and lounge around after having slayed a puma. Just kidding! Toulouse is her protector!

And, please note that Mom is better about taking pictures than Dad. Usually Mom is doing all the work! Dad just puts up most of the posts on the blog and makes himself look good. Duh!

A great day!

Well, this was supposed to be the last picture on this post, but the computer beat me. So, this is the end to a great day.

This was prior to the game. Papa John, not to be confused with the pizza chain, has a new hat for Maryn to wear to Beaver games. She can grow into it!

After the game Maryn got a bath and was explaining the horrible 'holding' penalty she saw called at the game to Sapphire, the cat. The refs at Reser stadium rarely get it right.

After a long day of tailgating and football a bath feels good. And, it's always good to snuggle up to Mom and eat.

Toulouse, the cat, was jealous not to be at the game. So, Mom and Maryn told him all about it. He too, found the penalty to be a poor call. And, he'd like to be fed too. Sorry buddy, ladies first.
